HEY, NICE TO MEET YA!

My name is Tim. I’m a food & beverage nerd based in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

I love good stories as much as I love good food.

I started a project called Tim Eats at the end of 2024 after years of being too insecure to do it. But I knew there were great opportunities for stories, collaborations, and just fun food content in the Chattanooga area and beyond. So that idea itched at me until I finally gave in. I’m so glad I did.

Chef Stories

The main reason I wanted to launch this project was to help tell the stories of people in our small business communities. Being in the business of feeding people is one of the more difficult paths you could take in life. These folks are heroes and deserve to be celebrated.

I have not asked for a dime from the businesses I feature on my page.

I don’t have an exact process for choosing the places I feature. It’s more driven by curiosity than anything else. Here are the questions I ask:

  • Who is behind the business? How did they come to open the business? What steps brought them here? What inspires them?

  • What makes the place unique? Is the food different from what else you can find in the area? What is the experience like?

If you think your business has a great story to tell, send me an email (tim.eats.423@gmail.com) and share your thoughts!

For the past three years, I’ve also ran a small consultancy focused on food, beverage, and hospitality businesses. You may ask yourself how Tim Eats relates to this? It all comes from the same place: a passion for this industry.
